Details: Friday March 22 at 2pm - Sunday March 24 at 2pm, Cataract Scout Park (transport from university)
Calling ALL students within the Faculty of Arts - come along one and all to the most fantastic and exciting social events of your journey through university.
After you've completed just 4 weeks of your baby steps into the University of Sydney, this is an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone, broaden your horizon and cross off all the necessary first year cliches.
Whether you study Government, Literature, History, Education, Gender Studies, Economics or Languages (and many more!), or even if you haven't decided what you want to specialise in, Arts Camp is THE BEST place to meet some new friends who share the same subjects and interests!
We'll be catching a bus down from the University quadrangle to our favourite campground on Friday afternoon and returning on Sunday afternoon. The days and nights will be filled with activities and a chance to socialise including our famous dance party on the last night with the theme of ‘INTERGALACTIC’.
Alcohol will be provided*, although the event IS open to all ages (youngun's under-18 won't be allowed to drink ofc). Camp Leaders from the 2019 Executive of SASS will be responsible for student's welfare and safety throughout the camp.
Importantly, buses will leave on the Friday from the front of the Quad at 2pm SHARP. So please gather there at 1 latest.
All other information about what to bring will be provided to all attendees via email closer to the camp, but if you have any questions please contact the SASS Facebook page.
Tickets drop during Welcome Week!
*The USU and SASS promotes responsible drinking.
NB: This event is only for first year students enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney.
